Robert is currently the Head of Campus, TAFE NSW Riverina Institute, Albury/Corowa where he is responsible for an annual budget in excess of $14mill. Robert also sits on a number of boards and advisory councils. He has been personally and professionally connected with the Albury Wodonga region since 1983.

Robert's areas of interest include education, health, language ideas and identity, sustainable community and regional development, Australia's relationship with China, and cross cultural ethics and leadership.

He is married to Helen and has two children, Emma and Tom.
