Emma Ginnivan

Community Relations, Southern - Country Energy Manager

Hailing originally from South of the NSW border, in Victoria, Emma Ginnivan has over 17 years experience in the Marketing and Community Relations fields. Post completion of a Bachelor of Business in Accounting at Latrobe University in Bendigo, Emma commenced her career with NRMA and held a variety of Marketing, Communications and Public Relations roles in the seven plus years that she was with NRMA, moving between Melbourne and Sydney.

In 2001, Emma and her husband John, decided to pursue a change of lifestyle when they moved from Melbourne to Albury with the intent of eventually moving onto a small farm. After restoring a couple of homes in Albury, this objective has more recently been realised with the purchase of a small farm near Jindera.

After a short period with Centro Properties Group, through 2001 to 2003, as Marketing Manager for three shopping centres in the Albury/Wodonga area, in 2003 Emma commenced her current role as Country Energy’s Manager Community Relations, Southern.

Emma’s role is wide ranging and diverse, encompassing the areas of local marketing, customer relations and complaints, communications, sponsorships, promotions, event management, media and stakeholder management. Emma is regularly on the road traversing the Southern region - which extends from Wagga Wagga in the East to Deniliquin in the West, Albury in the South to Ivanhoe in the North - meeting with staff, customers and stakeholders.
